As a manufacturer of custom high-quality hardwood flooring & wood surfaces in the New York City area, RQ Floors is uniquely positioned with the ability to service the tri-state area as well as regions across the country. With high-level experience in residential, commercial and hospitality, RQ acts as a resource to architects, designers, high-end builders and developers. We offer a complete line of products, exceptional customer service, and are proud to provide our clients with greater flexibility and a partner they can trust – project after project.

Our History, Proudly Made in America

Founded in 2010 by the Shekhets Family, our roots run much deeper. The one-time refugees from Ukraine immigrated to the United States to pursue an American Dream. After garnering decades of experience in manufacturing – including within the wood flooring sector – Leon (our founder extraordinaire) followed his vision to focus all his knowledge & expertise into creating RQ Floors.

Today, our state-of-the-art mill produces 150,000 square feet of finished product each month, using primarily domestic American lumber from the Appalachian region. This commitment to growth is driven by our belief that success is reliant on investing in technology that enables us to continually improve both our processes and our products. Yet even more essential to our formula is our commitment to treating our customers like family – a trait that Leon instills in our company with each passing day.
